21 Astor Place with Pivot Inc.Feb 22-29, 2004 -- Landmark Building Loft Seeks Technology Guru.Built in 1892, This historic landmark which used to be a commercial building has been recently converted into 50 condominium homes with spectacular finishes and amenities. Working together with the Erica Benjamin, President of Pivot Interior Design, was a blast. The living room area of this loft had a fire place that needed to be realigned and rebuilt in order to embed a 50'' Fujitsu Plasma model #P50XHA30WS. A 6.1 THX Ultra 2 digital surround sound system with a complete separate zone in the kitchen. Oui researched for the best equipment within the clients budget and specific demands. Oui found the Fujitsu plasma to be the only unit capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors @ 3000:1 contrast. The Denon receiver Model #AVR-4802R is THX Ultra 2 certified and was the perfect choice to control two zones playing different sources simultaneously. 60% of the walls were exposed brick which made it very hard to run the wiring. The wires were run in a shielded mold underneath the wrap around floor radiator. The 6.1 Bose Acoustimass 16 were fitted on top of the window frames. The kitchen was equipped with a set of Bose 161's in white. The house was also setup with two Panasonic DVD-F85S carousels capable of playing DVD-Audio which were perfect for such a large space. For the Gym/Study Oui chose a JVC LCD TV Model #LT26WX84 with the second Panasonic DVD carousel.
